Default Perch bolt ID

The perch bolts came out of a axle that was under a 1940 car but they look different from what i have seen in the past. ( just because it was in a 40 doesn't mean it started life there)

These are ford script with a bushing and grease fitting on top

Question is, what were they originally for?

These were for the first design sway bar. That was installed well in to January 1940.
You will rarely see that design bar as they were well, not a good design. Most were replaced at the dealer when the (fairly) new car went in for other service. Most owners were never made aware of the swap.

The entire assembly was different. No parts interchanged between the two designs.
