Default Help getting a 1935 EFV8 part to Hershey from Illinois

Is anyone traveling east going through Decatur or Peoria and willing to bring an early Ford V8 part to me in Hershey next week? The part is a stake panel from a 1935 big truck. It's about 48 inches tall by 42 inches wide and about 3 inches thick. It weighs about 40 pounds. The seller is not willing to ship, so hints on shipping wont' help.

I'm willing to pay someone for their efforts to bring it to Hershey next week. If you can help me, you will be helping with the restoration of my '35 1 1/2 ton truck and my cash can help defray your gas bill for your trip.

if for some reason you have someone that can get it to the hershey area early... I would be happy to keep it for you till the show...

someone traveling through in the next few days, etc....

probably not necessary this close to the show.. but its all I can offer

Good luck

Zach,

Thanks for the offer. If I can just get the part somewhere within 100 miles of Hershey, I can get it the rest of the way. I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but I'm running out of time as Hershey starts next week and I'm there starting Wednesday. I figure that someone will have to contact me by this weekend for this to work out.

Have you tried a bus company. They used to ship stuff very reasonably
