1940 headlight door screws etc
I'm having trouble getting hold of a couple of longer screws than have been supplied with a new set of 1940 headlight doors. I've tried all but one supplier in town and no-one has anything close enough.
Can anyone tell me if the screws sold seperately by any of the V8 parts suppliers are any longer? I need one to be approx 1/8"-1/4" longer to reach the bucket. I currently have a Model A trim screw holding it in place but it is a Robertson head and looks a bit wrong. I also need to get 6 screws for my fuel sender - I don't even have one for a sample. Can someone provide the thread info and length or direct me to where I might find that? Thanks in advance. |

Roy is THE MAN when it comes to correct nuts, bolts and screws. Very friendly and reasonable. He sold me the correct headlight door screws recently. Here's his link:
