Default Truck Steering Box

I've just had a phone call from a guy looking for a steering box for a One Ton Jailbar truck. Did they have the same steering box as the the half tons, or the same as the larger truck?

Only spare one I have here is for a larger truck with the 4 spoke steering wheel, but I'm not sure whether a one tonner would have had this type?

Cheers

I restored a 39 1ton the steer box was exactly the same as the 37 car steering I fixed up for the hot rod project. In fact the front axle was no different except the heavy 6 bolt hubs, as the sedan frontend, shoes and backplate except a couple more spring leaves. Should have tried a wide 5 hub, just to see if spindle was the same but it wouldn't make sense as far as standardization go's.

Thanks. Does anyone know from what size trucks had the different steering box?
