If additional reinforcements or any "softening up" is needed, my son in-law and his 'band of brothers' might like to assist too BTW he has 2 classic cars - this isn't one of 'em but he crew chiefs it for his/our Uncle - so there is shared interest here

Since you have a CWP take it and a friend for backup if you go.

Maybe ask for a carfax or reputable title search results? Assure the method of acqusition is legal and proper if it gets to that. On the flip side, maybe he's just as cautious as you are, doing what he's doing because of a bad previous experience. Good luck! |

Re: 1969 Falcon Sports Coupe worth having?
I actually did that last night, said look, no BS here...I didnt like the situation with all the scams out there...Carrying a lot of cash to a no name no address place in the middle of nowhere, I just didnt like the situation. What else can we do?
His response was "whatever dude, you are probably the scam. You kept asking me where the car was, I tell you were it is then you go steal it. I will sell it to someone else." I was thinking to myself if I wanted to steal the damn car I would come meet you and find out where it is and then go steal it later...DUH! Needless to say I am DONE with all this crap, wait for the next deal to come along. He is obviously having trouble with it because he has re-listed it 4 times and came back to me after days of silence....Maybe I am not the only one being cautious here |

After that reply which IMO is way too suspicious I'd walk away from it.
