Re: Washing A Model "A"
I use Optimum No Rinse (ONR) on all my cars, daily drivers, Model A and my Corvette, probably one of the best no water washes out there, it can be mixed to different proportions for wash, clay and detail.

Re: Washing A Model "A"
My 1930 Roadster "the donut run machine" has never seen water, loves these fancy towels I buy for her at our local Napa dealer and demands a full rub down using Canuba cleaner followed with another massage with Canuba wax. Ridiculous - BUT WOW DOES SHE GLOW AND GENERATE THE SMILES! I think my car (she) may well be a mechanical floosie!

Re: Washing A Model "A"
I have two Model A's, one pretty and one ugly, I wash both of them like any other car... The thing I like is Turtle Wax Ice. The paint in the ugly one is crackled. Turtle Wax Ice drys clear.

Re: Washing A Model "A"
How you wash it might really depend on how you drive it. My wife and I live on a dirt road. We do as many things as we can with our Model A's and get caught in the rain often. If you tried to just dust off my cars you would need a hammer and a chisel to remove the mud. I Wax 2 to 3 times a year to protect the metal. My cars are well used and well cared for. When my kids enheirit my cars they will be able to drive them to the funeral, grab a handful of dirt from under the fender and throw it into my grave.

Re: Washing A Model "A"
To keep radiator fins nice & BLACK, I spray a soft paint brush with Fantastic Cleaner & wipe ACROSS through the fins.
