Default Header cover panel (2)

I posted this last week https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=306130 , but got no response, so will try again. The distance between A pillars at the top of my windshield opening is 42 3/4". The length of the new panel is 43 1/8" from tab to tab. Using figures and pics in this post http://www.fordgarage.com/pages/193031headerpanels.htm the original panel had no tabs. It would be easy enough to cut the tabs off, but I'm sure they were stamped on purpose. Of greatest import is that the cover panel be correct when the garnish moldings are attached. To complicate matters, my original panel is 3 1/8" tall and fits the wood header just right, corresponding to the dimensions of a tudor/ pu. My rear fenders are from a rumble seat coupe so I always order parts for a coupe. Feedback requested.
