36 project making progress
Got the motor in back in June, interior has been next waiting for headliner to finish the job. running boards and fenders and lights and she will be legal for the road....Only problem, I live in Michigan and don't think it would be fun to drive in the snow!

Re: 36 project making progress
That looks great. There will have to be a nice sunny day with clear roads this winter!

V8 to match gold motor, chrome finish was a little worn so sanded the plating off primer, painted and clear coat.

No, No. don't drive it in the snow! that car belongs in your living room, at least for five months of the year. Never mind what your wife says!

Re: 36 project making progress
My dad bought our car in 1976, was black then ,he had it painted cordoba tan many years later. When he was 12-13, His father let him drive their family car, a 36 two door business coupe and always wanted to someday have a similar car. We found The five window coupe at a Kruse auction, and even though it was not exact but we have loved the car ever since .

Re: 36 project making progress
super nice. i'm still doing bodywork on my 36 5w. lower cowl sides. just finished the passenger side. 2-1/2 weeks on that. looks like you're in a good place on your project.

Re: 36 project making progress
Tan with red wheels, was pretty sharp looking. Unfortunately it was a lacquer paint job and was getting old looking.
