Default 1950 F1 question

Hi guys. I have a '50 F1. Ok, it's a hot rod, but for this question, I think this is the right place.

My clutch linkage broke. I need to get the clutch pedal out to repair it. Even though the rest of the truck has been modified quite a bit, the pedal assembly is all stock.

Is there a way to slide the pedal off the pivot which goes through the yoke-like arrangement? I can't see one, but maybe there's a trick to it. If not, I have to take the whole yoke assembly out, right? In that case, I don't see how the pedals come through the floor of the cab.

Basically, I'm looking for hints, hoping to do the minimum amount of disassembly I can get away with.

Thanks in advance.

There is a ~7/8” shaft the clutch/ brake pedal pivot on. This is held in place by a pin that has its ends peined over. May be interesting getting that pin out

Yeah. In the last couple hours I googled around some, and found some descriptions and pix of that pin. I don't think there's any way to get it out without taking the whole assembly out. And If I do that, I don't really need to pull the pin anyway.

I'll look around a little more, but it's looking like I've got to take out the panel in the floor, so I can pull the pedal assembly out the bottom. Then disconnect the brake linkage, and try to weasel the thing out. Fun fun fun.

Unscrew the pedal pads to remove the assembly
