Default Distance between shock balls on rear axle

Hello guys (and girls),

I'm currently manufacturing new mounts for the shock balls on the rear axle because one of the previous owners probably thought that shocks were overrated.
Werner already sent me the measurements of the mount itself, so that's taken care of.
But to make sure that the mounts are welded in the right spot I still need the distance between the two shock balls. (only thought of that AFTER I asked Werner)
Does someone know the distance that's supposed to be between the two rear axle shock balls? The ones on the axle, not the ones on the shock arms.
If not, can someone measure that distance?

From the pictures of the shock arms, it doesn't seem that they're the same distance apart. Seems to me that the front arms are slightly bent towards the middle of the car whereas the rear ones are straight.

It would suck if I had the mounts welded to the axle and a complete shock set ordered just to realize that I can't assemble everything beacuse the distance is wrong.

Thanks and have a nice day,

Daniel
