Default 29 HL buckets + Bezels being repopped ?

Are 29 HL buckets + Bezels being repopped , I have decent lights, but the buckets are too far gone for a decent replate. As long as I am going there I may as well ask about the bezels as well. Complete repro light's are avail. but they are truly in love w them and are poor quality. At least the ones I have seen.

= $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I think I read somewhere that someone was making the 28-29 buckets in stainless..

Anyone know?

Yes, about 10 years ago I saw a vendor selling them for $295 a pair, and I thought they looked good. I haven't looked recently at what's available.

Complete headlamps in stainless steel are in Snyder's catalog, listed for 28-29. A friend has had a pair for several years and they look almost like original nickel plating, You are asking about 1929 and these are the 1929 style and not the 1928 style has several differences from 1928 but would also work on a 1928. Yes, they have an expensive price tag.

Yes, I saw them , $550 ,Not from me I'll buy repro's. Might be worth it and probably cost what he originally wanted. But I am not a by the numbers correct type. May just bead blast my buckets and paint the backs the body color. Its not a rod and I only attend local shows w it.
