Default 1939 Brakes

It's time to replace the wheel cylinders on my 39 Standard. Any suggestions on where to buy them ? I read on a Brake post, that someone may be making sleeved with stainless liners, wheel cylinders, any one know about this ? I have also read threads on poor quality cylinders, that is why I am wondering who to buy from and who to stay away from. Any help will be appreciated !.......and thanks

found a set of cylinders at Carquest, one made in Italy, one Isreal, two from Argentina all of them in Bendix boxes, all of them good quality. Just a hint use 46-48 cylinders, a little larger, for better braking and sometimes easier to find

If the rubber cups in the Argentina made wheel cylinders are any good, it will be the first rubber made in Argentina that was any good. Marv

Speedway motors lists some with stainless sleeves. Has anyone used them?
