Default Pasadena High School Model A Club --Update 7 of 7

We have a winner of the 1929 Roadster, he lives in Coasta Mesa, Ca. this is his first Model A; he bought the ticket to support our Pasadena High School Model A Club. He had bought a ticket to support our High School Club last year and when we asked him to contribute again this year he again thought this is a worth while project for the Youth and purchased another ticket.

We want to thank all of you who supported our High School Model A Ford Club. Your contribution will go towards introducing young boys and girls to the Model A Hobby we love. They learn how to use tools and how to start and care for the car.

In addition to the raffle of the car a family in South Carolina has won the cash prize of $500 dollars. The husband and wife are Model A owners and wanted to support our effort and support MAFCA's Chapter of our Pasadena High School Model A Ford Club, the first of its kind.

Thanks Mike for your comments; however I have some questions.
I am a junior member of Ford Barn and wonder why Mike is the only comments we received on our post where it was viewed by 222 .

Perhaps we need to change something we are doing or add something we should be doing.

Introducing young boys and girls to the Model A Hobby is one of our goals, should we expect others of this site to want the same thing.

Do you believe more High School Model A clubs around the world would be a good thing or is there another idea you have.

Your input would be helpful .

Your original post was information. If you are looking for information/suggestions, ask. If there are not questions, or ask for comments, you receive few replies.

Hopefully you will get feedback using your second post, give it a few days. I am older, ideas take time to ruminate/cook in the old grey matter before they surface.

I wonder whether the winner will keep or sell the car. Very often a car won this way is sold on soon after.

I purchased a ticket, but was not lucky enough to win, but I'm happy to support such a worthy cause.
I think it is important to get young people involved in preserving our cars.

I'm curious, do any of the high schoolers in the club actually own a Model A Ford?

I bought 5 tickets to support the cause but am really glad I didn't win as I don't have any more room.
