Default Good Body man in IL.

After reading through the repro fenders posts I think I have decided that my original 1930 68B front fenders (both with spare wells in them), through a bit rough, should be saved. I am no body man and would like to know of any one knows a good Model A body man in Illinios, Iowa, Indiana, or Missouri. I prefer Illinios but am willing to drive to get a high quality outcome.

don't let the posts scare you as they are not that bad to do.. were lucky to have them available and if your old fenders are rough or going to take a ton of hours to make them right i wouldn't hesitate in using the repos

Check with your local club. There is usually someone who can do the work for you.

If not, ship them to Flop and ask him to massage them back into shape.

All Model A fenders can be saved.

I thought there was a post a few weeks ago that said they weren't
going to make the 30-31 front fenders any more because the dies are to worn.

crumbaa,,,, there is a pretty active Model A Club not too far from you in Peoria and in Washington, Il.

Although I don't know any of them personally, I would try that route they will know somebody that can help you.

Why not Ken & Ron Ehrenhofer? They are in the restoration biz and are in IL.

I just bought 2 31 frt fenders from Gas Light auto parts they make the fenders , they were very good the fit was almost perfect . the only place they needed any adjustment was where they meet the splash apron at the top 1/2 an inch by 3 inch area that needed reshaped. around $435 each without wells plus shipping . the rear cp fenders are even better
