I have converted my trunk lid to a deck lid/rumble seat. I am trying to put the hinges on the deck lid. How do I screw on the nuts inside the deck lid? Or is there something better or easier to use to bolt the hinges to the deck lid? Thank you.

they originally came with D nuts in the deck door. and there is not an easy way to install D nuts. so you make a nut plate. that has all six nuts on it. make sure you fit it to your hinge and drill the holes in the deck door little over size. it makes it easier for you.
