Default Hood prop on Ebay going nuts.

Wonder what is so special about a butterfly hood prop for Model A on Ebay? You can buy them new and lots of them on Ebay for $25.00-$35.00 but this one is nearing $100.00 with days to go,must be silver or platinum.I would show or share if I knew how.

To provide a link go to the page you want to show and then copy what is in the address bar. On a MAC the copy command is "command C" and to paste it the command is "command v" For a PC use "cntl" instead of "command".

A fool and his cash is easily parted. In this case there are several. You can buy new ones for a lot less.

Who wants to pay $20-$30 for and new one when you can get a "Pre-Owned"
one for $100.

A good racket if you can succeed at it.

I have a couple of them on my A's, I like the way they work. Somewhere in the mid 20's new.. Maybe need to buy a couple and sell then on ebay to help my grand kids college fund!

Four days left and now up to $120.00. The young man who was last years Early V8 Club president and sells on Ebay 35 Tn has as many as you want probably four could be bought for todays high bid.

My pickup had one of those on it when I bought it, but it wasn’t in very good shape. I looked at getting a new one from the vendors but decided to “refurbish” the one I had. Couple of bucks at the hardware store and some elbow grease and it looks great now for 10 years.

I bet someone buys it and considers it a deal.... "Post and hope". Now that seems to be a current "job description". I think it's a form of "fishing"... Chap

All it takes is two have to have it not going to let the other person have it types, it's going to be mine no matter how much I have to pay to win. If the buyer does pay, very happy for the seller.

It’s in Illinois. I bet the Governor is selling it!
The description of the item is an excellent read.

We sell them new in stainless for $27. Very odd why this auction is so high priced on this one.

the description is basically a non-description.
irritates me to see eBay listings with 30 or so random keywords bringing up a lot of crap I don't want in my searches......
