Default Dealer installed cowl lights

Does anyone have a 1929 with original dealer installed cowl lights? I am interested in seeing a picture of how the dealer installed cowl light bracket was mounted on the firewall with the 2 bolts that are shown in the service bulletin page 329 fig. 667. A picture of the actual bracket would also be very helpful.

Thanks Karl

What Body style do you have? I have a '28 Briggs body that I installed cowl lights on afterward. Had to find the two brackets that the lights screwed into as the ones I had did not have the mounting. If I remember correctly found them on the parts list here. For other body styles it may be easier to find the correct bracket. If you want a picture, send me a private message

I have a station wagon, the brackets must be original ford service part as it is for a fine point restoration project

Thanks Karl

I think you will find how to properly install them (as per Ford Motor Company) with a look at both the FORD SERVICE BULLETINS and or THE FORD SERVICE LETTERS.

Have a 29 Cabriolet, Roadster and the basic Tudor. I don't know if any are factory installed. How would I know? Wayne

cowl lights won't pass fine point judging on a 29, will they. I thought they're only correct for 4drs and cabriolets.

If they were dealer installed they are considered an accessory for fine point judging.
