I try to stay away from them, However you can use RTV to take up the space.
Ron, This set up is required by Camden for the blower pulley set up I'm installing.

This is what I'm thinking. The only problem I may have is the length of the sleeve to the pulley shaft. The pulley is just clearing the face of the timing cover. If I notch the sleeve, it will go in further on to the crank which means the pulley will do the same thing and possibly rub on the timing cover

If you need it spaced like it is you will need to make a spacer with a notch in it. A simple valve seat insert the right thickness could be used, then file a notch in it. Whatever you do you will need the pulley tight up again the crank gear.

In the passed I have trimmed the key to have the sleeve fit flush, but that will still gave you a spacing problem.

Yes, when modifying something the domino affect becomes the ruling factor.

another excellent idea

I'm still waiting for the blower to come back from getting checked out so the spacing problem will have to wait until the blower is sitting in place.

I found an old pulley that I could use for a spacer. It already has the notch cut in!

Thanks, Joe
Here is a pic of the installed, smooth sleeve. IMG_0899.jpg Key goes on after sleeve is installed.
