Default Trim rings

Purchased a set of 16 inch trim rings for my stock 1940 Ford wheels that I powder coated . After arriving discovered trim rings were made in Taiwan , guess what they were about 1/4 inch too large in diameter and no mater how I adjusted the tabs they would not fit and all I have to show for it is a scratched rim ! Where do I get good fitting trim rings ?

I got mine from Bill Hirsch Auto > http://www.hirschauto.com/Wheel-Trim...epartments/46/

I had no problem with fitting them....

Plus, most that are currently offered are not even close to being correct. Surely the ones sold by Drake and Carpenter are wrong, wrong, wrong.
Hirsch sells rings that are very nice.

I bought a set from early Ford store and they were Vintique, look nice. I had trouble getting first one on. The tabs were digging into the rim. The rest I bent the end of the tabs in to ease the entry and they fit well. I know I will never get the first ring off in usable shape.

The foreign made rings seem to be made of very thin material

Just received my Hirsch trim rings , popped right on excellent fit , don't waste your $ and time with that Taiwan junk ,problem is most sellers won't say where they are from .
