Well that depends on what you want to do with them.

If you want them as parking lights then you need to change to single bulb headlamps and move the wire to the parking lamps. I am not sure, but it may mean getting a new wire harness if you are concerned about originality.

Or you could use them as turn signal lamps.

It is up to you, but my opinion is you might be better off to leave your car alone. To many are converted to deluxe models a the standard looks great and your car looks great as is.

yes you can hook them to your original 2 bulb harness at the light switch. i would use the park light wire coming out of the light switch. you can do it many ways such as not rehook up your park wire to the headlights and just use the cowls or wire all in or even just remove the bulbs, or use for t/signals. brattons sells this splice for doing it or you can just make up your own. you will also need the cross over wire for under the dash along with the little brackets to hold the wiring.

I use them for directional lights on my 30 std. roadster and I kept the 2 bulb headlights for parking lamps. They work well as directional lights and in my opinion are much better than mounting rectangular lamps in the front bumper.

One other thought might be to splice the second headlight bulb wiring off the wiring harness, and run a second wire to your cowl lights. We used this setup on our '29 fordor- essentially providing a dim light from both light sources - it seems to work well for us - just another thought.

Why? I am not trying to be critical here-just wondering. It means punching holes in what looks like a really good cowl. There are not many standard tudors out there. Like I said just wondering.

When I put cowl lights on my rig, I opted to get the ones with dual filament bulbs so that I could use them for "parking" lights as well as turn signals. Someone in it's previous life had already converted the headlights to single bulb, so there essentially were no "parking" lights.
