64 f 100 223 carb trouble
Holly 1904 1 barrel carb--------stalls at idle out of gear when brakeing ?????no vacum accessories !--------any body got any ideas ?

Check with Charlie,NY on here hes done a few of these, i dont do that late a model.they used the same basic model from 52 up on the 6 bangers. ken ct.

Reducing pressure can be done by remounting fuel pump on a shim, but that is very cumbersome to figure out the right depth of shimmage. More info: look into fordsix.com and then pick the Vintage inline sixes category in the forums. There are lots of guys in there who mess around with old 215 and 223 Ford I-Blocks with the Holley 1904. |
