Choke Stove replacement 1955 t-bird
I have problems starting the bird after it sits for a few days. Found the coke piston sticks, after I work it by hand functions fine. Digging deeper found that I have exhaust I the choke housing. Pulled the choke tube from the carb and manifold and removed the screw in plug in the manifold. My understanding is there is a brass choke stove, where is it located? Do you need to remove the manifold to replace it? No details in my shop manual.
Thanks. |
