Default rear brake lever on backing plate

hello
i am putting on my rear brake arms on the roller track i took photos but not very good ones dose the flat side go towards the backing plate or dose the taper side?

Can you post a picture, I haven't got a clue what you are asking.
Can't think of an arm on the roller track.

Tapered side goes toward the backing plate. There is also supposed to be a "Dust Ring" between the lever and back plate. This is what the taper is for.
