Default another older

Well made it thru another day in the misery hole. Didn't do a thing to the fleet as today is my 87th year in this life. I did start the 32 & park it in the driveway as some car folk came by to wish me happy b'day. we B Sd for a couple of hrs.
Tomorrow I hope to start back on the 34 roadster to figure out what I am going to do about the valves tapping the heads. All new valves & Isky springs. High lift cam L-100 grind 373 lift & the heads were resurfaced & the block decked.

Burn-out-Bob: congratulations on your milestone! Margretha and I pray that your new year of life will bring all that you most desire - to include finishing and driving that "hot rod" '34!

Probably too hot to work today anyway. And the weekend will be worse. Assuming you're still in AZ.

Happy birthday! Sounds like you are doing great. That is a very beautiful Roadster. Solution? Just add another couple of head gaskets.

Happy Birthday B-O-B. Love your 1934 Ford Roadster. Do I detect an early 1933 rear fender on this car, the ones without the "skirt", or am I seeing things?

Here is a picture of a very early 1933 "skirtless" rear fender. The more that I look at the Roadster, I think that the rear fender on B-O-B's car is the correct one with the "skirt". It just looks like it didn't have one? My mistake.

Happy Birthday Bob. Surfaced heads and skimmed block. That'll stack up and give you that valves playing kissy kissy with the heads problem. Might need a little local spot facing.

J M 35 sedan I wanted something really dark & this is what they (paint shop) made so no name on it. I do have the formula. Paint is acrylic single stage enamel. Looks really dark in the right lighting. Would have still wanted a darker paint but had some applied & too lazy to redo it & have it darker.
