Intake manifolds
Will 49 thru 53 intake manifold fit on a 48 merc engine with out modifying anything?

Yes, may have to plug the holes for breather and oil fill in the front of the manifold... I use freeze plugs upside down- they look better that way... I used one for pcv valve...
May want to keep the fuel pump push rod for the manifold you're gonna use... Karl |

It depends on your definition of "fit"??? There will not be a distributor vacuum access point, there will be fewer attachment holes, there will be unneeded crankcase vents.

Karl do you have pictures of the plug install? Can you tell me which freeze plugs you used? I'm asking because I'll be running a late intake on an early motor
