Default 1939 Juice Brake Hose question.

I’m actively converting my 38 Frame with 36 Spindles over to 39 Spindles and Juice Brakes.

I bought the brake hose brackets.

Can anyone share a photo of the factory location of the hose brackets?

A 38 frame should have most of the holes already there.

Richard Lacey has kits. Used his for a mid frame MC 38 conversion. Went with a 39 pedal later. All the lines worked with some small MC reroute. They have all the lines wheel to wheel. If a 39 pedal version, just let them know what you are doing. Spiral rock guards... etc. Very good stuff.

If I get around to it this work week I'll take some pictures.

Here are some pics that should head you in the right directions. DD

Thank you all!

I see I’m in need of an e brake bracket as well.

Do any of you know if this cable bracket is reproduced?

I doubt that bracket is reproduced, but it would not be difficult to make in your garage. If you'll look at the picture below, you can see the bolt passing through the top end of that bracket. DD

Not an issue at all. I really appreciate all of your help on this build. I am sure I can make one if I have to.

I fabricated a bracket for the e brake cable. I appreciate seeing your photos. They definitely helped. And yes, that’s a brake hose bracket. Same diameter hole, and some stamped support in it.
