lt rear brake rod question
hello
i have my brakes installed and hooking up the brake rods on the left rear the rod is bent at rear close to the backing plat. the one on the rt is straight. before i straighten it i want to be sure that it is not to be bent thank you kevin |

Rods should be straight.

Make sure that the brake arms are correct. The arms clevis holes are canted slightly to allow the rod clevis and rod to be straight. My Tudor had odd feeling brakes, until I found the the arms were mounted on the wrong side so the clevis pin canted the wrong way. The rods were also bent at the rear end so they would fit in the arm clevis. This lead me to go over my brakes completely front and rear.
