Default Stubborn hinge pin removal

Having very hard time getting 31 coupe bottom hinge pin out. Have used Kroil,
punch without any movement. I have heard because the pin is rusted in for the last 90 years, and the flutes at the top of the pin that jam into the hinge top means getting the pin out is exceptionally difficult. The usual 'hinge removal pin' removal tool will bend and fail under the pressure and not budge the pin.
The last possibility would be to heat the hinge/pin and try to drive out hot.
If any experts out there know how to do it i would appreciate hearing what technique works.
Thanks for looking, Jerbo

Take a 6” clamp, place bottom jaw against the bottom of hinge pin, place socket over the top of pin, allowing enough room for the head to pass thru, tighten the clamp until the pin pops out. It works.

Being its the lower hinge it would be the easiest to drill, BUT I don't recommend drilling ! I was having troubles removing my pins and after 4-5 hours and not one pin removed, I toke a break! Went to a tractor supply and was looking a the tools. I bought a air hammer kit, in the kit was a set that I ground down in the shape of a pin punch. The first hinge pin that I went after jumped out and flew up 3 feet. I turned down some bolts for a temporary pin A's I removed the rest of the pins.

Well worth 20$ spent !

Here is an exaggeration of what you are up against to get a worn hinge pin out. The ridges due to wear act as stops. The trick is to exert enough force to round-off the ridges.

X2 on what the hammer did. Tape some cardboard to the door above and below the pin in case something jumps or flies.

I had the same problem with my pins but my paint on the top of the hinge was already chipped so i ended up using a chisel between the top of the hinge and the bottom of the pin head. worked well to break it loose. Then i was able to use a punch to drive it out.

I had the same problem on a rusty 30/31 pick up cab . I tried all known methods and had access to all tools including gas welding heat (not to cherry red but nearly) then douse with cold water . So this is the very last resort which worked for me . With a thin cutoff disc in your angle grinder cut a vertical slit in the body hinge . You can go fairly deep but avoid cutting the door part .With a suitable sharp edged punch/chisel open up the slit the pin will drive out . I did apply a bit more heat /kroil etc etc . I did not need to protect paintwork as there was none . The sparks from the cutting could damage your paint so tape some cardboard on . When the door is removed you can clean up the hole with a rat tail file . Grind the cut area flat and MIG it then dress it round the repair will not be evident . Once the slit was opened slightly the pin drove out easily.
