Unable to upload photos

Greetings tribe!

I joined the forum last week and haven't been able to upload any pictures either to an album or embedded in a post. I keep getting a message that I don't have the right "security token."

I've dropped a couple notes to the administrator but haven't received a response yet. I recently transitioned to a Linux platform (Zorin 9) and haven't been having any difficulty on other websites.
I was wondering if

- it is something I have to fix on my end?

- is there a vetting process by the forum to ensure I'm not a bot or a scammer?

- does the moderators need to throw a switch for me?

- when you guys joined, could you post photographs right away?

Any hints would be appreciated.

Edit: The issue has been resolved. The site was telling me my photos were being automatically re-sized during the upload process but apparently not. Charlie suggested I manually reduced the size and the "attach" feature works fine now.

Also, Charlie told me to check the resolution in the camera for a setting suitable for Email, which I found. Be aware: The fail message about the "security token" was completely misleading.
