Default Engine questions

Im doing some work on my engine right now and i have two questions. The first is that on the top of the block its stamped .060 does that mean its bored out? The second is to deal with the babbitt bearings, the middle main has some defects, can u tell me if it is still good. The engine ran when i took it out of the truck and the rest of the bearings are good.

I would not run it with that main looking like that. It appears to be rather chunky with loose pieces.

Metalcrafters in Stevens Point does babbit work. Not exactly southern part of the state, but probably the closest babbit guy to you.
