Wow!!! She's a beauty!!! Doesn't look like she needs much, at least on the outside. I really like that white interior against the black.

Best of luck and congratulation on your find!!!

Craigs List here in Oregon usually has some flathead engines for sale. Some are purported to be recent rebuilds. Time spent building an engine is a worthy winter project.

That does it! I'm gonna' put blocks in the back of my '51 to go with the Aerostar springs and level it out! I just needed to see this.

Very nice acquisition!
You can park it in my driveway and leave the keys in it. I'll see that it get back to you -- some day!
Congratulations.

Thanks for all the nice comments! I know it should have a flathead in it, but not sure that's in the cards. The interior is a nice traditional tuck and roll, very tasteful...except for the billet steering wheel which will be the first thing to go away. The top hardware needs some adjustment to be right, so I will have to figure that out. It would cost way too much to return to stock, so I am going to enjoy it the way it is. Plus I like the way it sits right now, 2" lowered all around.

My 39 will stay stock, as it is too nice to modify.
