Default 2 Bolt Oil Filters

What years used the 2 bolt head mounted oil filters? I am used to stumbling onto the 3 bolt oil filters, but recently I have stumbled onto 2 of the 2 bolt oil filters. One is marked Purolator so am sure it is aftermarket. The other is not marked. I presume they are for the 21 stud engines but not sure if they are correct for one year or another. Thanks Rod

That looks like something that might be used on a tractor or industrial set up.

If it were mounted on the head would the filter be level?
Do the bolt holes line up with the head bolt pattern?

Don't know what they were used on but Purolator was a great filter back in the day. Don't know if they are still in business or not.

The Purolator is on my 37 21 stud and sits level. The one pictured here seems to be the same angle, but I have not had them side by side. The third one has a home made bracket and was on my 59A engine. I seem to be a magnet for these things. When the snow stops blowing around I will try to get out to the farm and get pics of the other 2. The one pictured here was given to me by a good friend, who wants me to sell it for him and split the money so just trying to figure these out. I would imagine the Purolator will be an easier sell than this one with no brand stamped on the lid. Thanks Rod
