Ride along flathead V-8 181.808 MPH
Ran our lakester at the Loring Timing Associations event heres a link to the in car video of my fastest pass to date. The gas burning flathead is 295 cubes and supercharged.

What's the rotation speed of a flathead-powered racer? Must be faster than a B-52.
Technically, a B-52 doesn't rotate at takeoff. |

Its amazing how tame flatheads sound. After fireup it just sat there and idled, you would expect it to sound like a prostock car. Very kool!!!!!!!
