Default 1940 Ford Transmission Mechanic

I need to locate a mechanic in the Dallas/Ft Worth area to refresh the original transmission. It’s in working condition but not sure if it has been refreshed before. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Well, not Dallas/Ft Worth, but there are several places you can ship it to. VanPelt is one and I think 3rd Generation as well.

Mac VanPelt is worth the drive. However, if it's working fine, why fiddle with it?

So true! What exactly makes you think your transmission is in need of a "freshen up?"
