Unbelievable! I quit buying non-ethanol as the price stayed high after regular gasoline dropped last summer. Before winter I will buy a tank of it for my cars, at least it will dilute the alcohol. Bud

The other side of the equation would be; as the worlds oil supply runs lower and lower the extenders of petroleum products such as Ethanol will become more widespread. This is bad news for cars not designed for ethanol, I'd like to think there was a business oportunity here for someone making replacement parts, however with so many makes and models of older cars requiring attention I think it will be a case of each car club for themselves. Ethanol won't go away, and governments will be unlikely to regulate a safe supply just for us. It's mean and it's unfair and I don't like it...Bwahhh!!! |
