Need wheels rewooded

I have heard that there is someone that will rewood wheels in Oklahoma. Does anyone know who they are and how to contact them?

If it helps, and if it's not too late, I might 'ave a set that's all done already. It's a spare set that my former employer kept on-hand for his fleet o' wooden-wheeled Ts. I'm not sure what kind o' wood was used, but maybe you can tell -- the rims are primed, but the spokes are still bare. I'll check 'n' see if my ex-boss remembers who the spokesman (wheelwright?) was. How 'bout if I just go 'head 'n' un-bag 'em, photograph 'em, 'n' check back in with ya here tomarrow night?

I still don't know oak-spoked from hickory-smoked, but today I did learn that there was a reason these were stocked as spares. RR |
