1946 FORD Super Deluxe License Plate Bulb replace

Did Someone know to how replace the bulb? Did I need to remove the trunk handle? all help are welcome

With the trunk lid up, looking from the inside, you will see the back side of the trunk handle mounting and the light socket, as in the attached picture. Grab the the socket holder and turn to the left to release the socket. Be careful to not let the glass lens fall out. To install, orient the tab on the socket holder and turn to the right to lock it in place.

So No needs to remove the trunk handle? Just Turn to the left and pull?

Just turn to the left and pull?
