Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
You can't really see the pcv, it is off the 2 big vac ports and Teed. 5.0 efi intake modified to use twin .98 2100s on my 260.

Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
It wasn't the best system in cold climates. There was a mesh screen under it and short drives in sub zero would freeze it into a block of ice. Blowby would start oil leaking from all the gaskets and seals.

Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
Yeah, that is the actual oil/vapor separator and is necessary. It is replaced on a scheduled basis.

Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
Road draft was absolutely used in the 1965 model year. Absolutely.

Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
When and if this all goes togather I have a 66 4 bbl intake that has the provision and the three threaded holes for that PCV system but the larger hole is not drilled so it will have to be machined.

Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
They were delivered different ways. Some had a plug in the hole. Some had nothing but a flat place where it went. Some had the threaded holes for fasteners, but no opening for the gases.

Now for the earlier road draft design. Two SBF tubes shown below, one manifold mount and the other rocker cover mount (1965) -

Re: PCV systems on the smallblocks
The PCV on the EFI is a pain to get to.
