Default 1933 ford windshield replacement parts

Hi all,

Im trying to get my windshield put together for my '33 ford 5w coupe. I needed to drill out the bolts all along the bottom and bottom corners of the frame. While doing so i noticed an L shaped bracket that fits in between and merges the lower frame piece to the rest of the frame.

Ive benn having a hard time finding this replacement piece. Would anyone know who makes them?

Thank you all in advance.

George

Did you get yours out? Mine were real rusty so I used them as a pattern and made some. Took a lot of grinding to match the size but worked fine. Have not heard of anyone selling those, even if you got some from this place they would be too narrow to fit his frame. Or just get one of his frames, I did, and they are nice. You have to use his mounting brackets because of the narrower part of the frame.

I made my decision to replace after talking to the chrome shop. The cost to re-plate my gennie was way too much.

I purchased a pair from someone, I believe in Idaho several years ago. They advertised them either here on Ford Barn or the EFV8 web site. They were very good and fit perfectly.
