Default 46 license plate light wiring

I just completed a rewire on my 46 coupe, or should I say I almost completed the wiring. I noticed the license plate light had no wire. Can anyone show photos of how the wire runs in the trunk.

On my Tudor, the original wiring ran between the trunk skin and inner frame from the upper left to the center of the lid. The license plate light had a pigtail that mated to the connector on the longer run. In addiition, this wiring needs to connect to the trunk light. The trunk light is just behind the left hinge and is mounted to the rear window deck.

I don't have pictures, but there isn't much to see easily.

The picture corvette8n provided is correct. The plate light and the trunk light (if equipped, and as he shows) both utilize the same wire which then runs diagonally to the center of the trunk lid to the plate light. LouB.

My '48 runs the wire from the trunk light, across the car to the right trunk hinge and then diagonally down the trunk lid to the light. There are little clips,(part of the inner trunk liner) that bend over the wire as it goes down the lid. I have looked at it and wondered why they went across the car and then down instead of going down the left side as is pictured here.
