Default Halogen headlight bulbs

I have 24 headlight buckets and sockets that are near perfect and see that Snyder's has a halogen bulb that uses the stock socket.

They also advise that even though it is dual element, there isn't much difference between the two. My concern was that they be legal for night driving and was told by phone that they would be better than low beam and dimmer than high beam. I don't do much night driving so it wouldn't be a problem for me to have only low beam.

I commented that if one filament burned out I could just turn the bulb around and use the other one. He thought that sounded like a good idea.

Any of you used these and have comments?

Thank you,

Fourdy

Have you tried http://classicandvintagebulbs.com/page2.html

they are a little more$, but made by car people, they focus well with good filament placement, the bulbs from India, and /China don't seem to have been assembled with the same care.
I have used them for more than 10 years, still working good
They can be made with either single filament or dual, the 35 watt work well with a generator
