Default MAC's.......Beating a dead horse !

Sorry to start another thread on this tired, old subject, but it's important to have experiences about Vendors be aired, whether good or bad.

I ordered a few parts from MAC's on Saturday morning (10/20), around 9:00am. Today, Monday 10/22, I received an email at 10:25am telling me my order had shipped - in 24-hours (I'm not counting Sunday) ! And no, I did NOT pay the extra money for priority shipping or whatever they call it.

Now in any business that does the volume of business that MAC's does, is bound to have some screw ups, busy times, parts shortages, etc., but on this transaction they hit a home run and deserve some credit for it.

Please, let this one come & go on it's own and not muddy it up with past transactions, good or bad.

BTW, I do not work for MAC's, nor do I have any vested interest in their company. I'm just offering a public "thank you" for doing a great job.

So much of the verbal energy in our modern society seems to be focused on the negative and what so and so did wrong. It is so refreshing to read a public thank you for a job well done. Way too rare and not near as frequent as the actual good deeds deserve. Way to go.

I would like to second TagMan's "thank you" to Mac's. I have never had any problems with receiving their orders, complete, intact, and most importantly... the CORRECT items I ordered.

You all did notice that I did not compare them to an unorganized company out of Oklahoma that cannot come close to Mac's for accuracy of an order.

I've also had nothing but good experiences in dealing with MAC's.

This is good. You know, people usually don't bother to comment when something goes right, just when it goes wrong. Thats human nature, so you are bound to hear more negatives posted about a bad experience than a good experience. The fact that you posted about your good experience tells me that you weren't expecting to have one and were pleasantly surprised. In this hobby, it is unusual.

I have been using Mac's as a parts supplier for well over ten years and have been pleased with their parformance and quality of goods. There have some bumps in the road but they have always been handled expiditiously and to my complete satisfaction.

I've never had a problem with Macs on any of my past transactions.

Once or twice, a part was out of stock, but you can't hold that against them. They told me up front that the parts were on backorder.

I have never had an issue with Mac's either.
I stopped in once to see the place when I was driving in upstate NY. Nice people in person too.

Never a problem from MAC's. Matter of fact, I recently ordered something on a Monday and received it on Friday. Recent threads have complained about shiping cost from Mac's. Well I checked. And if I wanted to ship the same size & weight item to their zip code---"Same Price".
Happy customer here.
