Default I just had a brainstorm...

The post from KenCt on manifold heat riser holes gave em a brainstorm... brainfart maybe?

You know we have a problem with the new corn gas boiling in the carburetor bowl? What if you take an aluminum manifold with the heat riser passage, JB weld the holes on the bottom surface, and open up the two sides for ventilation. A forward facing scoop on the left, and a rear facing scoop on the right should help cool the carburetor above.

Hopefully someone who has experienced the boiling problem who has a junk manifold on the shelf will give it a try!

there is already a carb out there, it was from the late fiftys or early 60's, it had a lever on the side that closed to cover a hole on top of the float chamber when the throttle was opened, and it opened to uncove the hole when you shut down the engine to relieve any pressure caused by boiling fuel, Ken Ct should know which carb that was
