So a 3/4 race is 3/4 Of a full race??? What is a full race.What are you using for a standard. If I ask ten people I will get ten different answers.

Really want to confuse someone, start quoting duration specs at .050 lift .020 lift and zero.

Years ago, I was working at a shop which specialized on Porsche 4's and 6's.
The 4 cyl has 4 lobes on the cam, so I cut one lobe out, re-welded it up and sprayed it with graphite.
I put a sign on it 3/4 race cam and put it into the display case near the back.
You should have heard some of the conversations...

You do realize your question can't be answered specifically. A full race cam will lope a lot at idle so a cam was made that had some of the full race characteristics but idled better. It is for the street & not the strip. 3/4 race is a catchy term, could have been called some race cam.

Kinda like KFC secret recipe.
