Default '36 Ford pickup Hood Hinge question....

Hello All,

I have a '36 Ford pickup and trying to put the Hood together.
I have Purchased new the two-piece Hood Center Hinge and both Center Hood Hinge Rod Retainers. Is there a steel rod that goes inside the two-piece Hood Center Hinge and into both of the Center Hood Hinge Rod Retainers.

Bruce....

Hi, not sure about the repro hinges, but the original hinge parts just slide together from the end with no rod.
Phil.

Ideucev8 is correct. the top center pieces are attached together by sliding on side into the other side. The only place a rod is used is attaching the hood side panels.
