1956 Ford 2 door sedan
City:
Roanoke
State:
Va.
Price:
4000 ???
!956 Ford 2 door sedan, the floors have been covered in sheet metal, has rust in all the normal places. It has had lower panels put in it before I think in the 70's or early 80's. It has filler all over it, and the front had a customer treatment back in the early days. The cross member has rust. I do have a good replacement for that.
When I got the car I was told it ran, It did not. New parts installed by me. New fuel tank and sending unit, and new metal line from the tank to the pump, new line from the pump to the carb, new fuel filter, and a total rebuild on the holley 4 barrel. New wheel cylinders front and rear. New shoes, springs, and hold down parts. Machined all 4 drums. Repacked front bearings, and new seals. New metal lines from the front to the rear. New rubber brake hoses all 3. New master cylinder and brake light switch. New ignition switch. General repair on some wiring. None of the gauges work, I have a complete set of new Omega gauges, % piece set. The car runs and drives, and stops. The car was a 6 cyl. 3sp. car, the block has the markings of the 292 or 312 casting, I have not taken anything apart to see what is inside. I did put a new set of plugs and wires on it, the cap and rotor are clean, and it has some type of chrysler style electronic ignition, Old hot rod stuff. Iwill get pictures up soon I have posted 7 videos on you tube. https://youtu.be/YoRPyLknDvs |

Re: 1956 Ford 2 door sedan
49 ford sold on Ebay.
This 56 is still for sale, $2600.00 takes it. If not I will start pulling it apart and find out what motor is in it, if its a 312 then the motor will be for sale along with all the other parts, every time on ebay the bid went to 2175.00 just needed a little more. I know if the motor is the right 312 it will be worth more than the car. |
