Default Tire Pressures

Recently I put a set of 600 x 16 Auburn Deluxe Radial tires by Diamondback on my 36 Ford. They look like the original tires but ride much better. Unfortunately the manufacturer does not recommend any tire pressures and the only thing they mention is that radial tires usually run at higher pressures. I’ve been running the tires at 30psi. I was wondering what others are doing if they have switched to radials?

I run similar radials on a 39 coupe & 38 PU. I have 35 to 36 psi and they ride well with this pressure.

If you run tire pressure too low, the tires will heat up too much
at highway speeds.

I think Phil Gillespie is pretty close at 35 to 36. I would try 38 psi
on the front (engine weight), and 36 on the rear tires, for a test ride.
