Default Ansen friction shock absorbers.

Would anyone have any information or a part number that Ansen sold the friction shock absorbers for Model A Fords? I don't know if they made them back in the day or were just a distributor of them.I know or think that mayby J.C.Whitney sold them in their catalog sections for Model A's. I know they were a cheap substitute at the time but at least back then they were made in the USA. We had a set on our '30 Ford roadster years ago and they were pretty good. I think the fronts had an offset arm and rear were straight,a couple stets are listed on Ebay and one set sold but seller really does not know for sure f part numbers are for Model A. Wish I could find a decent set to try out.

The ones on eBay are way overpriced….check out the Offenhauser friction shocks at Speedway. Same thing at less than a hundred bucks. Yes. I have used the Offy and Zipper friction shocks on A hot rods weighing under 2000 pounds.
