Default 1932 Sport Coupe special parts

Hello

We have a local customer restoring a 1932 sport coupe body. He needs the upper B pillar outer panels. If someone actually has a pair for sale pm me and I wll pass the information along. If one can be borrowed, or templates made, or good photos taken with a ruler for scale the customer is very capable of making them. Any help will be appreciated.

The customer is a top level craftsman who will be selling the body when restoration is finished.

Hi Karl:
I have a pair here somewhere, but not for sale. If he will make an extra pair and send them back along with the orginal rusty pair, I will play ball.

I bought the sport coupe from Mike at Pikes Peak in Colorado last year (great guy). It is too missing most of the wood and those pieces. If it helped make worthwhile would really help me to buy duplicates of any wood or those metal pieces. I have the brackets that the top bow slots into that I could get copied if that helped.

Hi Karl; Jim Cameron sold two or three sport coupe projects in his ''great sale' to Vancouver WA, but they got resold I think. Incidently, Jim C passed away Jan 1 in Sweet Home; His heirs will have a sale in the Spring. Newc in Molalla

These are the main top bow brackets I got with the sport coupe. I could get the copied if someone were really stuck for them but they are quite complicated in their form. Sadly only got three pieces for wood for it so am pretty much in the dark as to their shape and size.

Brad’s Woodshop, Friday Harbor, WA (360)-378-3886 Wood Kits for Early V8 Fords and top quality. Brad does not have a web page.
I used Brad's wood in my 34 roadster.

It was part of a collection that was sold up. The person who bought it was keeping it.

A pair of new B pillar uppers and one original are on their way to "chisel". One sport coupe body closer to being saved.

My customer can make additional pairs if anyone needs them, contact us.

Thanks to all who made this happen
