I believe the lower 4 cyl cap is for 32 and 33. 34 4 cyl doesn't have the concentric ridges, it is just the single ring out by the edge like the v8 cap.

I agree with Big Red 51. Sounds like your not logged in. Ford Barn boots you out after a period of inactivity.

Clean out your "history" to see if that helps.

It's the browser I'm using - Firefox. I was able to view mercman's photo when I logged in using Internet Explorer. I'll have to do some tweaking with Firefox....

Are the locking caps of same appearance?

I have a very nice locking, it looks most like the 34 4 cylinder one.

Did locking caps have V8 on them too,?

I have never seen one without an oval door flap with ford logo.

32 & 33 V8 locking caps have the V8 on the swing away lid.The 34 and 35 share the same oval swing away lid.The 34 cap skin reveal around the oval is wider. The 35 skin oval is the same all the way.34 & 35's appear on EBAY all the time and most of of the time not identified correctly.

Here is a Lineup of the 1932 to 1935 Ford Hubcaps as fitted to Wire Wheels, including Locking hubcaps. The only one that I am missing in my display is the 1932-1933 Locking Hubcap, as pictures above.

Here is a comparison picture of the 1934 and 1935 Ford Locking Hubcaps. The top one is 1934, and is wider at each end under the movable Ford Oval, as "Deuce lover" pointed out. As there was a Ford script and no V8 Symbol on the 1934 Locking Hubcaps, it was used on both the 4 and V8 models. For 1932 and 1933, two different Locking Hubcaps were issued, one for the 4, the other for the V8. The lower picture shows the 1935 Ford Locking Hubcap.

Also, the 32 V8 locking cap lock cover has a block style V8 and the 33 has the more elegant looking curved V. This is just on the cover that swings away to reveal the lock.

Just to confirm and illustrate what Deuce Roadster mentioned, the "V8" in the 1932 Ford V8 Hubcap is "old style", while the "V8" in the 1933 Ford Hubcap is much more "streamlined". Top photo is 1932 and lower photo is 1933.
